Disney Frozen 2 Is Coming!

It has been confirmed that Disney is making a sequel to everyone’s favorite movie, Frozen.

Disney’s Frozen was so popular that they are going to continue the same formula for Frozen 2, the sequel.

So get ready for lots more of Elsa, Anna, Kristoff, Olaf and Sven in Disney Frozen 2 Movie.

The Disney Sequel Curse…Can Frozen 2 Break the Curse?

According to this story from ScreenRant, Disney has not had great success with making sequels. Will Frozen 2 break that curse or will it flop too? It’s not just Disney sequels that flop, according to this article, so do sequels to musicals. Since Frozen is both a Disney film and a musical, it could be 2 strikes and you are out. What do you think?

Forbes Magazine talks more about those sequels and the fact that over the last 76 years, Disney has only pulled off 5 sequel movies that hit the theaters and succeeded.

Actor Idina Menzel (the voice of Elsa) makes some interesting comments about the new Frozen movie. She must have some inside information, so maybe we should listen to her. One interesting comment she make is, “One possibility is that the movie could move on from Elsa and Anna to focus on their offspring (in the tradition of The Lion King II: Simba’s Pride and The Little Mermaid II: Return to the Sea), or center on a supporting character like Olaf.”

Hmmmm….not sure how I feel about that. I do like Olaf, but I want the entire cast back. I NEED more Frozen.
